They will even manufacture situations to make you jealous or weary of other people and question their sincerity. They will also make you believe that the people closest to you are talking negatively behind your back by presenting you with allegations from those people. The real agenda is not the Narcissist being concerned - BUT to put wedges in between you and the people you care about. The reverse is true also - the Narcissist will go to the people closet to YOU and make them believe you have said negative things about them!
The narcissist uses the familiarity from knowing you and any and all private information you shared and trusted with them as ammunition to now use AGAINST you. By being somewhat 'in the know' the Narcissist's stories seem real and personal to the listener.
The Narcissist isolates their victim from the people closet to them, forcing the victim to rely and become dependent on the concerned and caring Narcissist that will only manipulate and control he victim more and more. Pure deception to divert, divide, conquer, isolate and CONTROL!"
