"A massive data breach hit the Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor retail chains, compromising the credit and debit card information for more than 5 million shoppers.
Hackers stole the personal financial information from more than 5 million customers who visited the stores from May 2017 to now, according to Gemini Advisory, a cybersecurity firm. About 125,000 of these records were put up for sale on the dark web, the firm said, adding that it “is amongst the biggest and most damaging ever to hit retail companies.” The data breach also hit Saks Off Fifth stores...."
- I find it pathetic, that hacking is not relevant for protesters. You know those smart kids, who know it all, that march in the street after a gun goes off at their school. They are silent about hacking and hackers!
Not making light of mass shootings, but if you want to claim to be smart, care about what is happening in the world, be leaders, you should and must be very concerned about hackers.
If you want to be leaders it is mandatory that these individuals are brought to justice, and given proper, not improper prison or execution sentences. 5 million identities stolen in a day is a shit pile.
Hacking destroys lives, families, credit, job opportunities, hampers with medical and dental records, personal information, . . . and it has become a daily event. It wrecks havoc on lives for a long period of time.
