All in the name of modesty, purity and sacredness. Ideas battered into the minds of females with fear of retribution, if they are not adhered to. There is a difference between being FORCED to be modest, pure, and sacred or making the choice to be modest, pure and sacred. Honor killings and Honor Abuse stem from cultures, customs and religions that use FORCE to control and manipulate women, based on ancient mandates.
